A congressional aide was arrested on December 9 for bringing a handgun into the US Capitol complex. Jeffrey Allsbrooks, 57, was entering the Longworth House Office Building when the officers spotted the image of the weapon in a bag on the X-ray screen. Minutes later, Allsbrooks was tracked down and arrested. Part of the House Chief Administrative Office’s staff, Allbrooks is being charged with possessing an unlicensed pistol. Watch the video.
