Congress recently passed a short-term government funding bill in order to prevent a shutdown before the December 3 deadline. The bill has been sent to President Biden for his signature. The Senate voted 69-28 to advance the resolution, acting quickly after the bill was approved by House members. The bill, once it is signed by President Biden, will help keep the government funded till February 18.
