By subpoenaing Donald Trump’s accounting firm Mazars USA, the US House should get access to some of the former President’s tax records. The ruling was made by a Federal Judge on August 11 in Washington, DC. The case follows the House tax returns case that reached all the way to the Supreme Court. The House’s request for Trump’s financial records has been weighed by District Judge Amit Mehta against the Supreme Court’s standards of its 7-2 ruling in 2020. Watch the video here.
