Southern copperhead

Size – 22 to 36 inches in length.
Coloration – They have pale to pinkish-tan coloration with dark, hourglass-shaped crossbands.
Habitat – These snakes are found in damp, marshy terrain, streams, riverbeds, and nearby hillsides, as well as residential areas.
Bite Danger – Bites can be painful, although they are rarely lethal.
